Colin woke up with a feeling of dread in the pit of his stomach, he looked over to see Oliver fast asleep on his pillow. His alarm clock read 7:27, three minutes until it rang. Colin reached over and shut it off, it was loud for him he couldn't imagine how loud it would be for Oliver. He knew that Jax would come get him anyway.
Colin watched Oliver sleep for a few moments before he realized how creepy that was. Slowly he got out of his bed, carefully not to wake up Oliver. He quickly got dressed and packed his bag for school, he started to finish some homework before he realized he would have plenty of time during lunch. Just as he slung his bag over his shoulder Jax opened the door to wake him up. He cocked an eyebrow when he say Colin was already awake.
"I'm out, I'll be home by seven." Jax whispered.
Colin nodded, "I'll see you later, Jax. I-I'll try to keep him safe." He muttered gesturing to Oliver.
Jax smiled, "See ya later, kiddo." He said as he pulled his little brother into a tight hug.
Colin nodded, Jax walked out of the room and Colin turned to walk up Oliver. To his surprise Oliver was already awake and sitting up on his pillow, he smiled shyly, his hair was sticking up in every which way. "You, uh, ready for school?" Colin asked nervously.
Oliver nodded and stood up on his pillow, his arms stretched out to help him keep his balance. "But wha-what is school exactly?" He asked innocently as he jumped off the pillow.
Colin shouldn't have been surprised, there wasn't a school for tiny people... Was there? "It's ah, it's a place where a bunch of kids go to learn. Grown ups teach them how to read and stuff."
"Well I don't have to go them, I already know how to read." Oliver giggled.
Colin chuckled, "There's a lot more than that." He said stretching his hand out, Oliver only hesitated for a second before clambering on. "What do you want for breakfast?"
Oliver shrugged, "I'm okay with anything."
Colin slung his bag over his shoulder and ran down the steps, Oliver gripped his fingers tightly and had an excited look on his face all the same.
Colin set Oliver on his shoulder and went over the cupboard and grabbed a box of sugary cereal, he poured some into a zip-lock bag and handed a piece to Oliver, who greedily started eating it. He took a handful himself before deciding he would eat it on the way. He was about to open the door when he realized Oliver was in plain sight.
"Um, Oliver, maybe you should go in my pocket. You could get seen if you stay there."
Oliver shuddered at the thought of being seen by more humans, "um, o-okay." He slid down onto Colin's hand as he clutched his cereal. Colin let him softly drop into the pocket. It swayed back and forth as Colin walked and it felt like a warm hammock. He pressed himself into the corner of the pocket and continued nibbling at his cereal, he could clearly hear Colin's pounding heartbeat behind him.
Colin was nervous, he was really nervous. The bullies at school were relentless, if they, if they found Oliver... He didn't even want to think about that.
He was kind of a loner so he didn't have to worry about any friends seeing him, that was an upside. Coin sighed as he saw his school in front of him.
He started to walk up the steps, 'no incidents yet, thank go-' As soon as he thought it he was he was roughly shoved from behind.
He tripped and luckily caught himself on his hands, but it didn't help him from slamming his head on the cement steps. It was Rick and William, they laughed as they ran past him. Colin groaned and clutched his head. "Hit my chest once if your okay." He murmured quietly to his stowaway.
He felt a tiny fist punch him and he sighed in relief, this was going to be a long day.

The Giant and the Zookeeper - Chapter 6
As she thrashed around in the new Giant’s palms she realised they were wet. As she noticed this her screams subsided for a moment and she heard a familiar voice.
“Amelia! Amelia! Et sin Gavin!” they cooed. Amelia looked up and through her tears she could see a familiar face and she realized it was Gavin that was now holding her, greatly easing her distress.
“Seit casan Amelia, shhh” he said softly and cupped her up to his chest damp chest.
As she calmed herself down, now safe in Gavin’s hand she could hear Gavin talking to the other giants on the boat, then he started walking away from them and walked do

Loath | Chapter 6
I was sitting at one end of the vast couch, where Loëcë had put me down. I could still hear the heavy rain outside, see it through the windows, and thunder was still rumbling from time to time. The young giant had gone out a few minutes ago, to check on the roof. For a brief moment, I worried about him because of the lightning…
Wait.
No! I wasn’t worried at all! May the divine lightning strike his dumb face!
I crossed my arms, frowning. Loëcë’s behavior was confusing since the first day, but I had to wonder; if he hated me so much, then why would he rush to my room after the lightning crashed on the roo

His words were glossed over with panic, and were just a foggy blur in my pounding ears. Fear was racking at my body, the anticipation hurdling through me. I felt as though I would collapse, despite his comforting, hopeful words.
I could still hear the uncertainty in his words, the fear, and the agony of knowing, that deep down inside of us, the likely-hood of us escaping was slim to none.I jumped and w
